Welcoming New Institutional Affiliates

We are very pleased to welcome three organizations as Institutional Affiliates:
Southwest Research Institute is one of the oldest and largest independent, nonprofit, applied research and development (R&D) organizations in the United States. With nine technical divisions, innovation in science and technology has been a hallmark of the Institute since its earliest days, and the multidisciplinary, collaborative nature of the organization enables diverse teams to tackle problems from multiple directions, and develop innovative solutions that advance the state of the art and improve human health and safety. Operating as a nonprofit since its 1947 inception, Southwest Research Institute works in the public’s best interest and toward the betterment of humanity.
Simon Fraser University is a public research university located in British Columbia, Canada with more than 37,000 students and 6,500 faculty and staff. SFU’s successful work in knowledge mobilization builds on a strong foundation of fundamental research and has led to its strategic vision to be the leading engaged university defined by its dynamic integration of innovative education, cutting-edge research and far-reaching community engagement.
Griffith University is one of Australia’s leading and fastest-growing research universities. Strong, established partnerships with industry, government and the wider community have enabled researchers at Griffith to addresses key challenges confronting national and international communities, and through these partnership to develop solutions that have significant social, health, environmental or economic impact.
